IT’S OKAY TO ASK

A little help needed

EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS

A little help to give

To respond to a note, email the workshop using its reference, or open an approved wishlist on the retailer’s website. Contact emails stay private. Reviewing a note or link doesn’t verify someone’s identity or guarantee help.

What kind of note is this?

A few kind, simple words. Up to 70 characters.

Share the need or offer in general terms. Leave out private details.

Wishlist links optional

Add up to 3 HTTPS links from Amazon, Walmart or Target. Leave this section blank if you don’t have a wishlist.

Approved links become public. Before sharing, check your list’s settings and any names or addresses it displays. Don’t include private details in the link itself.

For the caretaker to contact you. This address will never appear on the public board.

Your note waits for review. It won’t appear on the board straight away.

A quiet word about your note and privacy

The workshop caretaker stores submissions and contact emails privately for review. An approved note’s title, text, category, reference, publication date and any wishlist links appear publicly. Your contact email stays with the caretaker. Please review your wording and wishlist settings before sending, including any names or addresses visible on the retailer’s page.

Wishlist links open the retailer’s website in a new tab. That website’s privacy and purchasing terms apply. A posted wishlist doesn’t verify the poster’s identity, parenthood or need; the workshop doesn’t process purchases or guarantee assistance.

Approved notes leave the public board after 31 January of the year following approval, or earlier when the caretaker closes them. Declined and closed notes are removed from the private store after 30 days. Notes waiting for review stay private until the caretaker reviews them.

To ask about a note or request removal, email [email protected] from the address you submitted, including your note’s reference. This small community board can’t promise a response, a match or assistance.
