A quiet corner. A little help. A very warm welcome.

THE GROWN-UPS’ ROOM

A little help.
A little more Christmas.

For parents, carers, trusted grown-ups, and anyone with a little kindness to share.

Make yourself comfortable. The practical things live here, so the rest of the workshop has room for wonder.

GROWN-UPS HELPING GROWN-UPS

The Angel Giving Tree

Families share individual wishes for toys, clothes, coats, shoes, or bedding. Helpers can choose just what they’re able to send.

Each reviewed wish includes an exact item link and any sizes or details. Shipping information is shared privately with helpers after they reserve a wish.

For adults aged 18 and over. Review does not verify identity or guarantee help.

LETTERS & LITTLE KEEPSAKES

Private wishes stay private.

The writing room sends letters to Santa’s private website inbox. It asks for no email address, account, or grown-up confirmation. A nickname is enough; leave it blank and the workshop will choose one.

How do I request a copy of a website letter?

After sending, the page shows a nickname and a private NPL letter code. Save or copy both before leaving. Email [email protected] with the complete code and nickname to request the note. The caretaker checks both and replies manually. The website does not send an automatic email to the letter writer.

Keep the code private. Someone with both details may request the letter; these details locate a note, not prove a relationship to its writer. We don’t publish a public search or automatic download. Older website letters do not have these codes; contact the caretaker for help.

What if the letter was sent using an email app?

That is a separate system: eligible letters sent directly by email may receive a Workshop postmark (NPW). Emailing that complete postmark to [email protected] returns a plain-text copy automatically. These postmarks last 180 days. They are not the NPL codes shown by the website, and the email services involved process those messages.

If you want to send without supplying an email address or receiving an automatic email, use the website’s writing room. The manual website-copy request goes to Santa, not the automatic postmark service.

Private letters or shared notes—what’s the difference?

Write to Santa is private. The caretaker can read the full letter, but it never appears on the public site.

Shared notes is a public wall. Notes are limited to 400 characters and only appear after caretaker review. A grown-up must review and submit a public note. Every language is welcome; moderation and profanity checks are not perfect, so please keep personal information out.

A LITTLE CARE BEHIND THE MAGIC

Privacy & a little make-believe

What the writing room saves

Unsent writing stays in the open browser page. When Send to Santa is chosen, the full letter, nickname, private code, date, and an internal submission identifier are stored in a private file on the workshop computer. There is no email field, no child account, and no automatic reply. Please leave out full names, addresses, schools, phone numbers, birthdays, photographs, and other private details.

The private website inbox and Santa’s incoming email are read by the workshop caretaker. Letters remain until the caretaker removes them; archiving does not delete them. Contact details saved by the old website form are not used for replies and no longer appear as a reply address in downloaded letters.

Basic page and activity counts contain no letter text, names, email addresses, visitor identifiers, or saved IP addresses. The host processes information needed to serve pages and protect forms. We do not use advertising trackers.

Privacy on the Angel Giving Tree

Reviewed requests are public, but contact emails, shipping addresses, and tracking numbers are not on the public tree. With the family’s consent, reserving helpers receive the adult recipient’s delivery information privately and enter it at retailer checkout. Helpers are anonymous and not identity-verified. They may already have copied an address before access ends; that cannot be undone.

Helpers reserve individual wishes and mark them ordered or shipped. Shipped wish details disappear from the public list. Tracking stays with the family, responsible helper, and caretaker. Read the tree’s privacy panel before submitting, and contact the caretaker for corrections or removal.

Who runs the workshop?

This is an independent, family-run Christmas project. Everyone can imagine Santa in their own way. We’ll do our best to bring a little joy, but a letter or wish does not promise a reply or a gift.

A trusted grown-up can help a child use the site, but a grown-up’s email is not required for a private website letter. To ask for help or removal, contact the caretaker with the nickname and code if you have them. Please don’t send more personal information than needed.
